- Open curtains during the day to take advantage of natural light.

My heating and cooling bills are killing me! |
- Clean or substitute the heating and cooling filters every month because when they get dirty they consume more energy.
- Open the window during the day in winter to allow sunlight and heat to enter your home.
- Close the curtains at night in winter to eliminate heat loss.
- Close windows and curtains during summer days and cover them by curtains to prevent the sun from heating your home.
- Close the empty rooms while there’s no one in them to decrease the heated/cooled area.

I want to save money when washing my clothes |
- Always wash with cold water whenever possible.

- Don’t overload dryers because then they consume more energy.
- Adjust the water level to be suitable with the load size.
