Finance Database Reference
A central source for the MED-ENEC finance database (data sheets on financing instruments) has been the study ‘MEDA Finance 2010’, providing information on a multitude of instruments relevant for the region (all sectors, not only EE/RE). MEDA Finance 2010 was co-financed by the EU Invest-in-Med programme (www.invest-in-med.eu). Invest in MED is funded by the European Union and implemented by the MedAlliance consortium, which associates EuroMed economic development organisations (ANIMA, union of investment organisations, ASCAME, union of Mediterranean chambers, EUROCHAMBRES, union of European Chambers, and BUSINESSMED, union of industrial federations).
The selection and additional research by MED-ENEC on relevance for EE/RE, description of the programs and further details (e.g. additional information required in the MED-ENEC datasheet template under the categories ‘type of financing’, ‘type of measures/technologies’, ‘financing range’, ‘description and conditions’) is based on information given on the websites of the respective financing institutions and from the other sources indicated in Annex II of the MED-ENEC study.
Any information from this database can be used or copied with the condition that MED-ENEC and MEDA Finance are mentioned as the source and the www.med-enec.eu web portal is quoted.
