The Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development is an autonomous regional Pan-Arab development finance organization established in 1968 by the Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States. The purpose of the Fund is to contribute to the financing of economic and social development in the Arab states and countries In 2003 62.2% of the total funding were given to loans connected with energy and electricity projects, but there was no information about special RE projects.
