Objectives and functionality

The main objectives of the business pages are:
- Linking relevant MEDA and EU businesses, public and private institutions with each other
- Providing information on helpdesks, relevant events, business opportunities and available providers of products/technology or services in the MEDA countries.

The business development (BD) section will be aimed at:
- MEDA and EU businesses
- MEDA and EU public and private institutions such as universities and other educational facilities, research centers, energy agencies and governmental organizations.

In more detail, the functions of the business development section are:
1.Referral of website visitors:
   a.Links to and contact details of helpdesks and information offices in the MEDA countries
   b.Links to and contact details of professional associations and networks in the MEDA countries
2.Listing of industry pools (lists of businesses listed per MEDA country and per type)
3.Listing of events calendar listed, including MED ENEC events, relevant fairs in the region, meetings and expositions, with links to relevant websites
4.Publication of (links to sites with) business opportunities
5.Assistance with professional networking and partner search
