The objective of this conference is to address the most important issue in the MENA region with regard to solar thermal energy and solar photovoltaic. Energy supply is a daunting challenge to Jordan due to lack of indigenous energy resources. This conference will address the various issues associated with all technologies and applications of solar energy in Jordan, the Middle East and around the world as well its relation to sustainability and conservation of resources. Developing strategies to meet the energy demand, creating alternative solutions to current problems and discussing the appropriate legislations and regulations that ensure the development of energy resources and their uses will be addressed as well in the conference.
