The European Union has committed to cut CO2 emissions by 80 to 95% by 2050. Underpinning this commitment, EIB loans help to implement this EU objective. As one of the largest financiers of renewable energy in Europe, the EIB’s Regional Forum will provide a platform to identify opportunities and policy implications for realising synergies between green growth initiatives, programs and projects in South East Europe, the Balkans and the Mediterranean.
