Il vise à promouvoir des mesures d'efficacité énergétique et des systèmes d'énergie renouvelable dans les bâtiments aux pays au Sud et à l’Est de la Méditerranée. L’amélioration des conditions cadre, le développement des affaires, et l'appui aux grands programmes de construction nationaux sont les activités principales du projet.

Beirut Energy Forum 2011
Back in 2010, Beirut celebrated its first energy forum. The BEF 2010 witnessed the participation of around 370 persons representing 19 countries. The event provided a platform for professionals, policymakers, practitioners, donors, academics and other interested individuals and companies to interact and exchange information, views, ideas and knowledge relevant to the energy status and renewable energy development in Lebanon, the Mediterranean region and the Arab World.

Budget Allocation Chart (BAC)
The Budget Allocation Chart (BAC) is a tool to distinguish in an efficient way, on one page, between financially attractive and not so attractive investments and their potential to balance electricity supply and demand.
The BAC has been developed with regional experts from Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Tunisia and Jordan by MED-EMIP.
MED-ENEC II continues the support to BAC development in its partner countries.
National Energy Efficiency Action Plan LCEC – Lebanon
This document developed jointly by RCREEE and MED-EMIP proposes a template and structure to report the salient features of the first NEEAP. The latter will be prepared for the first three year reporting period 2011‐2013 by national entities. The template is not mandatory but a tool to assist the stakeholders to communicate essential measures and impact of their NEEAPs and will also assist RCREEE to summarize and analyze the results to be published on an
annual basis by the Arab League.
