MED-ENEC Supports the Translation, Printing and Dissemination of the Arab Energy Efficiency (EE) Guideline

 

MED-ENEC Supported the translation, printing and dissemination of the Arab Energy Efficiency (EE) Guideline. The guideline was translated into English and French Languages then printed for dissemination in cooperation with Eu-Funded Euro-Mediterranean Energy Market Integration Project (MED-EMIP).

MED-ENEC Provides "Energy Audit in Buildings" Training to its Mediterranean Partner Countries

 

The training was based on the need of APRUE (Agence Nationale pour la Promotion et la Rationalisation de l’Utilisation de l’Energie), the Algerian National Energy Agency, to qualifying Algerian private sector consultants and the Ministry of Energy's staff to be able to carry energy audits in the building sector and to train the trainers for providing further national training and follow up.

Lebanese Council of Ministers approves Lebanon’s National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP)

The Lebanese Government has officially adopted the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP) for the years 2011-2015 as developed by the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC) in collaboration with MED-ENEC, the EU funded MED-EMIP project, the League of Arab States and the regional center for renewable energy and energy efficiency (RCREEE).
